Brand Identity

We were approached by the owner and operations director of a group of hotels, appartments, offices, meeting rooms, bar & restaurant to provide them with brand strategy and marketing support for the next stage of their transition. With the imminent build of a new hotel and outdoor rooftop destinantion space in the pipeline they needed help in defining the offer to their audience. Naturally, they engaged the services of Chocolate Ltd.

In early meetings and brand workshops it becamae obvious that there was a series of mixed messages coming from the seperate brands. Chocolate Ltd suggested an amalgamation of all of the brands to fit under one single umbrella brand proposition with one clear messaging platform – SPHG was the result.

We set about designing a new ‘mother brand’ logo and identity. We took inspiration from local buildings and architecture to create a bold new marque which was both sophisicated and contemporary in order to fit with the new direction of the group. We designed a set of stationery, marketing tools and a suite of branded materials using the new creative and accompanied that with a complete set of user guidelines to add consistancy to any future communications.

As part of the transition to this new brand we made alterations to many of the sub brands which sat in the estate so that they worked together as a cohesive set, recognisable as part of the same group.

Chocolate Ltd then provided SPHG with their most valuable tool – a brand new website. Packed full of stunning photography and with a carefully considered customer journey encouraging a quick route to bookings and sales. The website brings togther all of their brands into one, much more managebale space. This has given them a much bigger, much more interesting story to take to the market – one urban location, many unique destinations. There is a wonderful story here that Chocolate Ltd have written and delivered in style to their local and loyal following from around the globe. This is a destination in the middle on one of London’s most exciting new locations where you can eat, drink, meet and sleep without moving more than 50 yards.
