How we helped bring new life to a great heritage craft.

Last year, we partnered with Rhian Harris and Pip Wood at the Royal School of Needlework (RSN) to help reframe a centuries-old craft for a more contemporary audience. The challenge wasn’t about changing the essence – it was about shifting perception.
They came to us with ‘Fragile Threads’ – an initiative using nature and wellbeing as a platform to reach new audiences for the RSN made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Working alongside Emma Rein and Alex Lewis, we built a brand and narrative designed to travel – rooted in relevance, crafted with care, and made to resonate beyond traditional boundaries. From identity through to messaging, every element was created to feel both authentic and current.
The result is a platform that opens up new conversations – connecting heritage with modern culture, and craftsmanship with wellbeing.
Proud to see this one live on our site.
