The Trouble With Being Good at Everything
By Matt Mason
Let’s face it. There’s a lot of vanilla in real estate marketing.
Safe brands. Predictable campaigns. Beautifully produced marketing materials that look remarkably similar to everything else out there. Launched with a fanfare and forgotten a few weeks later.
And we understand why. Nobody wants to take a risk. It’s much easier to follow the herd than stick your head above the parapet.
But here’s the thing. Being forgettable is a risk too.
At Chocolate, we’ve always believed that the best creative work should do more than look good. It should make people stop, think, engage and, ultimately, buy.
Over nearly 30 years, we’ve seen bold creative ideas deliver extraordinary commercial returns for our clients. Not despite being different, but because they were different.
We know we’re not for everyone. Our approach can feel like a risk, particularly in an industry that often prefers to play safe.
But we know how to make creativity work commercially. We’ve been doing it for decades.
We create stories that sell.
And if you’d rather follow the herd, that’s absolutely fine too.
There’s always vanilla.
